2023’s Top 100 LA Comics to Watch (60-41)
59. Jason Yanakis
I watched this guy murder at the Employee Discount show at my home club the World-Famous Hollywood Improv. It was tight, polished, honestly, a TV-ready set. I couldn’t be prouder of what he’s doing and I’m not just saying that cause I don’t wanna get hit with, I don’t know, nunchucks? That’ll come into play very soon. Buckle up! The next page is where shit really starts to get wacky. All peaks! No valleys!

57. Dex Carvey
One time at the World-Famous Comedy Store, Marc Maron was taking a photo with a fan. Dex walked up to me and was like “You‘ve had such impact on the scene.” and Marc turned his head thinking he was talking to him. It was a funny moment I hope we have a good laugh about on WTF one day.

42. Juliana Destefano
She was in a movie called Acid Test I keep seeing her post about. I went on IMDb and I haven’t heard of any of the cast so I’m assuming it’s a student film. I mean, that’s something, right?

41. Leah Mansfield
Sometimes me and Leah Mansfield butt heads over whether I should be calling myself a veteran cause of the time I almost got shot outside of an open mic. Her writing partner, Josh Gibson, doesn’t seem to mind as much, but that doesn’t change how she’s one of the funniest comedians I know. That being said, who in a million years could possibly rank higher than Leah Mansfield? Click next to find out!
