Top 100 LA Comics to Watch (20-1)
20. Jay Light
Jay Light books Chirp N Turf which is a rad show I’ve been to and would like to do one of these nights so I’m giving him the #20 spot since I haven’t had the best of luck persuading Handren Seavey by bringing up my Peacock credit. Also, once while hosting Potluck, he called me Neil Hamburger Helper which remains one of the top 5 roast jokes about me (which there have been many). I like Jay a lot.

19. Luke Schwartz
One of the funniest up-and-comers at The Comedy Store, also he’s in charge of Potluck, I think. I hope it comes back soon. I also hope landing #19 on this list gets me in his good graces cause prior to the pandemic, it was like two years since I’ve gotten up and I’ve gotten light years funnier. Funny guy though. I genuinely like his comedy.

3. Ahmed Al-Kadri
Yemenis comedian recently turned TikTok star Ahmed Al-Kadri is not only a comic you should be watching, but he is one of my best friends in comedy and books a show I wanna do. I’ve literally given him a ride to the airport and somehow none of this was enough so I’m giving him the #3 to be safe.

1. Ryan The Cable Viewer
Oh yeah. Nick books a show with this guy. Ryan The Cable Viewer is more than a comedian with fun jokes, he is also an artist and for fuck’s sake, I went to a Platinum Package show and I still haven’t gotten booked. Here. You get the #1 spot. Really Fanto deserves this spot but I’m giving it to you. Are you happy? You would be a real dick to not book me now.
